Misión del cargo:
The primary responsibility of the Head Scientist of Product Development is to lead the team in the development of new processes related to applications to related to enzymatic application in various industries addressing current challenges. This role reports directly to the Director of R&D and involves leading the Product Development team, providing guidance across various project stages, including validating new processes, designing innovative solutions, acquiring materials for experiments, executing experiments to meet application requirements, generating informative data reports, developing technology transfer for commercial production, creating documentation for ISO implementation, and training team members to enhance overall knowledge and experience.
Funciones del cargo:
1. New Process Validation:
- Validate new processes with the goal of expanding the company's product portfolio.
2. Process Design for Innovation:
- Design and develop processes that foster innovation within the Innovation Processes Pipeline area.
3. Experiment Execution for Product Generation:
- Execute experiments to create products that meet the specified application requirements.
4. Data Reporting for Informed Decision-Making:
- Generate comprehensive data reports to inform team members and supervisors, facilitating informed decision-making.
5. Technological Transfer Development for Production:
- Develop processes for the technological transfer, ensuring the successful production of new products on a commercial scale.
6. Documentation Generation for ISO Implementation:
- Create and maintain documentation to support ISO implementation, ensuring proper information organization and activity traceability.
7. Team Training in Acquired Competencies:
- Provide training to team members in the competencies acquired, contributing to the overall enhancement of the team's knowledge and experience and offering support when needed.

Requisitos:
Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience in biotechnology laboratories.
- Experience in a leadership role within a research and development environment.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Education:
- MSc degree in biotechnology, bioengineering or related field in bio-science is required.
- Background in genetics, proteomics, or toxicology research and application.
- Advanced degrees (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Genetics, Proteomics, Microbiology, Biochemistry).
- Proficient at an advanced level in both English and Spanish.
