Misión del cargo:

In the role of Product Manager, Genomics, you will be at the forefront of driving the strategic development and management of our cutting-edge genomics products. From the initial concept phase of new products to ensuring market success, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle. Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development Genomics, your primary focus will be on identifying and nurturing new market opportunities, improving user experience, and implementing effective pricing and marketing strategies. We are seeking an individual with robust critical thinking skills, ready to make a significant contribution to the growth and success of our genomics product line.

Funciones del cargo:

1. Commercial Strategy Execution and Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Execute and develop the commercial strategy behind new products.
  • Understand functional requirements of the product and validate key product features through the voice of the customer.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle.

2. Market Opportunity Exploration and Roadmap Recommendations:

  • Understand market trends and identify new product opportunities.
  • Make recommendations to internal stakeholders on the product roadmap.
  • Evaluate market studies, perform competitive analysis, and monitor social media.

3. User Feedback and Usability Oversight:

  • Manage early access programs and analyze user feedback to improve usability analysis.
  • Post-product launch, conduct customer interviews with to assess areas of improvement.

4. Long-term Pricing, Marketing, and Project Leadership:

  • Assume responsibility for pricing and marketing strategies across multiple geographic regions (US, LATAM, EMEA).
  • Oversee product management throughout its lifecycle, including marketing new products, suggesting improvements, devising strategies, and managing internal communication.

5. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving:

  • Possess excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, Kura managers, and executives.
  • Strong presentation skills are required.
  • Able to set annual goals with quarterly milestones and align projects across all functions to achieve goals.

Requisitos:

Professional Experience & Qualifications
1. Experience

  • 5-7 years in product management, with a preference for candidates from Life
  • Sciences and Genomics companies, and acceptance of backgrounds in Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, etc.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with the Google Workplace suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and experience using project management tools such as Asana.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A key requirement is a demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and a vision for bringing new products to market.

2. Education

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in biology, bioengineering, or a related field.
  • Ideal: Advanced degrees (MS, PhD, MBA) or life-science product management certifications are advantageous.
  • Language: Proficient at an advanced level in both English and Spanish.
